Kevin Howe, MD
Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with specialized training in joint replacement surgery, Dr. Kevin Howe specializes in complex arthritis problems involving the hip and knee joints. Dr. Howe has been a member of Redwood Orthopaedic Surgery Associates since 2000. He has been awarded the Surgeon of the Year by Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in 2008 and has been named a “Top Doc” at the hospital in 2011.
Dr. Howe graduated with his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and completed his internship and residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, Davis, where he received the Orthopaedic Chief Resident of the Year Award. After his residency, Dr. Howe was the Otto E. Aufranc Fellow in Total Joint Replacement Surgery at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA.
Dedicated to providing patients with the most effective and technologically-advanced treatments, Dr. Howe has been involved with several orthopaedic research studies concerning hip arthritis and hip replacement surgery. He also continues to annually teach at regional courses for orthopaedic resident education involving total joint replacement surgery.
