Luis Garcia is a certified Physician Assistant who has been a valued member of Redwood Orthopaedic Surgery Associates since 2011. With a diverse educational background and extensive clinical training, Luis brings both knowledge and compassion to the care of his patients.

 

He began his academic journey at UC Irvine, earning dual Bachelor’s degrees in History and Spanish, before completing the Postbaccalaureate Pre-Medicine Program at UC Berkeley. Luis went on to attend Duke University, where he completed the Physician Assistant Program and earned a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences. His clinical training included rotations in general surgery at Yale University and orthopaedic surgery at the VA Hospital System in Asheville, NC, giving him a strong foundation in both surgical and orthopaedic care.

 

Luis is certified in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support and maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery, and the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants.

 

Beyond his professional life, Luis is proud to call Santa Rosa home. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, and taking advantage of the area’s beautiful outdoors. His commitment to health and wellness extends beyond his career, reflecting the same energy and dedication he brings to his patients.
